The dog that is exhibiting the inappropriate behavior is corrected by breaking up play. This can be done a variety of ways. We adhere to the LIMA principle which means Limitedly Invasive Minimally Aversive. We will step between, body block, clap or other loud noise, and grab collars to stop the improper behavior. The dog is allowed to calm down and then go back to playing. If the dog continues to display incorrect behavior, RolloverU staff will ask the owner to collect their dog(s) and leave.

No. The playgroups are designed for the owners to stay and help supervise play. RolloverU staff is there to ensure the play is appropriate and all the dogs are having fun. We are also happy to answer any questions you may have about just about anything dog related.
The playgroups are for dog-friendly dogs only. We do understand that a dog that is reactive when leashed may be perfectly fine when off leash. You can ask for an evaluation by our staff to see if your dog can attend a playgroup. Our evaluations are free. If your dog is not a good fit for the playgroups he may just need some training or confidence building. If that is the case we will provide you with suggestions and options on how to get your dog to a point where he can join the playgroups.
